Because of This is a dramatic short film about a young woman, Sasha, who must reunite with her estranged father in order to learn how to control these fantastical powers she has just developed. With this reconnection comes a lot of past turmoil and emotional triggers being dug out of hiding. This is an opportunity for the two of them to forge a new bond and understand one another for perhaps the first time.

We played a crucial role in this film by handling all of the VFX. This project was particularly challenging because it was completed entirely during the peak of COVID. Our collaboration was fully remote, demanding exceptional communication. We thoroughly enjoyed working on this film and can't wait for you to see it!

This film has won in multiple categories at film festivals including Best Visual FX at 4theatre.
